Coach Olena Matsypura
Life as an immigrant can look “fine” from the outside - but inside it can feel like you’re constantly in survival mode, trying to find yourself again.
My name is Olena Matsypura. I’ve been based in Ottawa since 2018 and support newcomers as a life coach and settlement counsellor. My Ukrainian Master’s degree in Practical Psychology and completed Grief Coach program allow me provide emotional support and coaching, especially for women who feel exhausted, overwhelmed, stuck, or afraid to make changes. Migration stress often builds up slowly - until anxiety, sadness, burnout, and the feeling of “I don’t recognize myself anymore” become part of everyday life.
Over the past 3 years, I’ve worked with hundreds of newcomers, including Ukrainian families, helping them navigate life in Canada, access resources, plan their next steps, and feel less alone during the adjustment process. In difficult times, it helps to have someone beside you who truly understands what you’re going through.
Our sessions are a safe space where you can speak openly - without pressure, without judgment, and without having to stay strong. We will focus on stabilizing your emotional state, understanding what’s happening in your nervous system, and restoring your energy step by step.
I truly believe you deserve a life that feels like yours again.
